Leading West End performer Meredith Braun has recorded a new solo album, When Love Is Gone, set to release November 10 as a digital download and physical CD. The title is taken from the Paul Williams song Braun performed in the film The Muppet Christmas Carol.

When Love Is Gone has been constructed as a "narrative song cycle," featuring both existing material and original songs. Composers represented include Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and Barry Manilow. Braun penned two original songs for the album and musically arranged the entire project.

Braun's long West End career includes originating such roles as Betty Schaeffer in Sunset Boulevard, Lily in The Secret Garden at the Royal National Theatre, and playing both Eponine in Les Misérables and Christine in The Phantom of the Opera. When Love Is Gone is Braun's second solo album, following the release of Someone Else's Story in 2012.
