Other theatre roles include playing both Eponine and Fantine in Les Miserables and Christmas Eve in Avenue Q. Jones was the youngest actress ever to play the role of Eva Peron in Evita at the age of 19, and subsequently made her West End debut in Chess as Svetlana and Florence, before playing Grizabella in Cats. Other West End shows include Les Miserables, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Nine and High Society, while London fringe credits include Personals, Romance Romance, Victor/Victoria and Closer than Ever. Regional theatre credits and tours include A Little Night Music, Anything Goes, Acorn Antiques, The Witches of Eastwick and 42nd Street.

Taylor was runner-up in Superstar, the ITV reality TV contest to find an actor to play Jesus in the arena tour production of Jesus Christ Superstar, in which he subsequently played Simon and was cover for Jesus. He is about to re-join the U.S. tour of the production. He has recently played Roger in the U.K. tour of Rent in concert.
