PlayBlog Whoopi Goldberg Talks Sister Act With Jimmy Fallon (Video) Whoopi Goldberg, producer of the recently Tony-nominated Sister Act, was recently a guest on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" to talk about the new musical that opened on Broadway April 20 at the Broadway Theatre.

“When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won’t be found – a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon the gang are giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her new found Sister Hood,” according to producers.

After talking Sister Act, Fallon offers Goldberg a little advice on what her next project should be—a musical version of "The View." Goldberg and Fallon improvise on some song lyrics for what could be Broadway's next big hit.
