CHICAGO -- Four recently-discovered one-act plays by Thornton Wilder will be featured in Ages of Sin, beginning June 19. This is the latest offering by SummerNITE, a professional summer Equity company associated with Northern Illinois University. Last fall these "lost" plays were unveiled and published by F. J. O'Neil from the Wilder Archive at Yale University. The new old works are Youth, In Shakespeare and the Bible, A Ringing of Doorbells and The Rivers Under the Earth. Director John Bettenbender has arranged them as four stages in an imaginary courtroom trial. SummerNITE, which performs at the Bailiwick Arts Center, has brought Chicago audiences Charlotte Cushman and Life in the Trees. For information call (815) 753-8258.
