News Williams and Strong to Read The Coming World June 20 The free Out Loud reading series — presented by Ars Nova and the Underwood Theater — continues June 20 with The Coming World.

Christopher Shinn's play will be read by Jeremy Strong and Michelle Williams. Shinn will also serve as director for the 7 PM presentation.

The Coming World, according to press notes, is described thusly: "Angry and confused over the suicide of her ex-boyfriend, a young woman looks for comfort and closure by forging a connection with his estranged twin brother. Is it better to live simply and unhappily or to uproot one's life seeking the answers to impossible questions?"

Playwright Christopher Shinn has also written Where Do We Live, What Didn't Happen, Other People, On the Mountain and Four. He is the recipient of an OBIE Award in playwriting as well as Guggenheim and NEA Fellowships.
