News   With Glee Plays Off-Broadway's Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row Starting July 10

Prospect Theater Company's production of With Glee , a musical about misfits in a boarding school, begins performances July 10 at The Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row.

Directed by Igor Goldin, the production will officially open July 13. Performances continue through Aug. 1.

The cast comprises Christopher Davis Carlisle, Jason Edward Cook, Greg Horton, Erin Jerozal, Dan Lawler and Max Spitulnik.

With Glee features book, music and lyrics by John Gregor. The new musical, according to press notes, "[concerns] five wayward, eccentric, isolated, awkward, sweet, naive, nerdy teenage boys who are sent away to a boarding school in Maine. As they revel in the trials of their freshman year—striving for acceptance, friendship, and normalcy—we are reminded that every life must be lived to its fullest, every song sung with glee."

The production features scenic design by Jen Price Fick, costumes by Tricia Barsamian and lighting by Cory Pattak.

The Kirk Theatre at Theatre Row is located at 410 West 42nd Street. Ticket prices are $25 for adults and $22 for students (with valid ID) and can be purchased by calling (212) 279-4200 or by visiting www.TicketCentral.com.
