Eddie Levi Lee-Edd Key's musical satire, Wuthering! Heights! The! Musical!, begins performances May 19 for a run through June 27 at the Theatre in the Square in Marietta.

The show-within-a-show features Cooka Pippen, town wallflower, who returns to her Georgia high school reunion with the idea of putting on her musical version of "Weathering Heights" [sic] to show off the wealth acquired through her marriage.

Levi Lee, who also co-directs with Larry Larson, is the author of The Salvation Of Iggy Scrooge, Blood Orgy Of The Bermuda Triangle Zombie Assassins and Some Things You Need To Know Before The World Ends...A Final Evening With The Illuminati, which had an Off-Off Broadway mounting in 1996. Key wrote the music for Iggy Scrooge and Empty Space's The School For Wives. Songs will range from bossa nova to Les Miz-style operatic.

Suzi Bass stars as Cooka with Mike Masters as Ed Steckle, her second-rate Los Angeles composer, Brad Sherrill as her shy brother, Mills, David Milford as the rich drunk Beverly Trimble and Rebexxa Baty as Arlene Stoner.
