News Yale Rep Adds World Premiere of Christina Anderson's Good Goods; Tina Landau Directs Christina Anderson's Good Goods, which was recently developed as part of the Eugene O'Neill Center's National Playwrights Conference, will receive its world-premiere production at the Yale Repertory Theatre in 2012.

Tina Landau will make her Yale Rep directorial debut with the intimate play that will fill the Feb. 3-25, 2012, slot.

According to Yale Rep, "Amidst the cluttered shelves of a family-owned general store in a small Black town that doesn’t appear on any map, four lost souls reunite. Partnerships dissolve, alliances shift, and romances ignite as a tragic accident unleashes the town’s mysterious history. Blurring the line between body and spirit, Good Goods is an otherworldly love story of the (dis)possessed."

Casting will be announced at a later date.

Anderson's plays also include Drip, Hollow Roots, Blacktop Sky, Inked Baby and Man in Love.

As previously reported, the Yale Rep season will also include the Sarah Ruhl adaptation of Three Sisters, and the world premieres of Will Eno's The Realistic Joneses and Amy Herzog's Belleville. Yale Rep tickets are available by visiting YaleRep, by calling (203) 432-1234 or by visiting the Yale Rep box office (1120 Chapel Street).
