Lake Tahoe Music Festival presents the evening at Tahoe Donner in Lake Tahoe, NV. Backed by the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra, York and Viviano will offer tunes from Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats and The Phantom of the Opera, among others. Timm Rolek will conduct the orchestra. Sal Viviano has appeared on Broadway in The Full Monty, The Life, Falsettos, City of Angels, Romance/Romance and The Three Musketeers. Off-Broadway he was seen in Beau Jest, Cather County, Weird Romance, Catch Me If I Fall, Broadway Jukebox, Hamlet and The Opera. His film credits include "Black Roses," "The Jitters," "Spike of Bensonhurst" and "Life With Mikey." Viviano's debut solo recording is titled "The Standards of Love."
Rachel York, who was recently seen in the national tour of Camelot, was last on Broadway in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. A Drama Desk Award-winning actress, York's additional stage credits include Sly Fox; Dessa Rose; Kiss Me, Kate; City of Angels; Les Misérables; The Scarlet Pimpernel; and Victor/Victoria. York also appeared as Reno Sweeney in the Reprise! staging of Anything Goes, as Mother in the Paper Mill Playhouse mounting of Ragtime, and she portrayed television legend Lucille Ball in the CBS movie "Lucy." Her debut solo recording is titled "Let's Fall in Love." York will be seen in the Goodman Theatre's production of Turn of the Century this fall.
