News York Theatre to Continue at Targeted Citigroup Center Despite recent terrorist threats at specific New York buildings, including the Citigroup Center at Lexington and 53rd Street, the York Theatre will continue in its home at that location.

In a statement Jim Morgan, artistic director of the York Theatre, said, "The New York theatre community has a tradition of perseverance in difficult times and we have no intention of darkening our stage in response to these latest threats.  We believe the building's secure nature will allow us to continue attracting audiences who have come to count on us for entertainment and a welcome diversion from the news of the day." The Musical of Musicals—The Musical is currently playing at the York and has been extended through Sept. 26. The Musical of Musicals plays Monday-Saturday evenings at 8 PM, with matinees on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:30 PM. The York Theatre is located at 619 Lexington Avenue at 54th Street.
