News Zbornik, Benoit, Miller and Rapier Offer Forbidden Broadway Nov. 1 in California A special performance of Forbidden Broadway will kick off Cal State Fullerton's Professional Artists in Residence Celebrity Footlights Series Nov. 1.

The one-night-only mounting of the 20th anniversary edition of Gerard Alessandrini's musical revue will include some of the long-running production's "greatest hits" as well as some of its newest "victims." The cast for the 8 PM evening will include David Benoit, Brian Patrick Miller, Trisha Rapier and Kristine Zbornik with Matthew Ward at the piano. The creative team comprises Phillip George (assistant director/choreographer), Michael Camp (production stage manager), Alvin Colt (costume design), Rosalie Kaplan (wardrobe) and Carol Sherry (wig design). Forbidden Broadway has played several locations on Manhattan's upper East Side and upper West Side since its humble beginnings in 1982. Its current home Off-Broadway is the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre on West 42nd Street. The show has also been seen around the country and around the world: London, Singapore, Japan, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Detroit, Melbourne and many other places. Past cast members include Jason Alexander, Chloe Webb, Dee Hoty, Christine Pedi, Brad Oscar and Bryan Batt.

The 2003-2004 PAIR Celebrity Series also includes Morris Bobrow's musical revue about food, With Relish, Feb. 6, 2004; the sixties musical soap opera Suds, April 16; and the political revue Capitol Steps, May 2.
