PHOTO EXCLUSIVE: On the Yellow Brick Road With Adam Sergison and the North American Tour of The Wizard of Oz
The first North American tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's new stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, headed by Danielle Wade (as Dorothy), launched September in Las Vegas. Cast member Adam Sergison shares photos from the road.
Big smiles for The Wizard of Oz! Flip through the photos of my travels down the yellow brick road.
Fresh out of tech week in Salt Lake City, the cast grabs shuttles to our Vegas hotel, the "Golden Nugget"! Let's get this show on the road!
I stumbled across a breakfast joint down the street in Old Vegas with hand-down some of the tastiest menu options I've ever seen. We were only in Vegas for a week and I managed to chow there a couple times- even tried take out!
The Smith Center in all its glory. A beautiful new facility, and a great place to open our show! It's a stunning view from the stage. A great way to get everyone pumped and ready for the tour to follow.
My friend Aly and I pose for a photo with our fantastically talented and amazing associate choreographer, Richard Roe! He was a large part of the original production on the West End, and one of the sweetest gents you'll ever meet.
How's that for a cake? This is from our opening night party at "Drink and Drag" bowling. Drinking, bowling and drag queens make for an interesting night...
Strike a pose! This is the only strike that happened for me that night. Let's just say that bowling isn't under "special skills" in my resumé.
On the road to Los Angeles! There aren't any mountains in my hometown of Toronto, Ontario so I caught a couple shots of them on the bus. The pictures really don't do them justice!
A thrilling moment for me, being on the Hollywood strip at the Pantages Theater!
I found Judy Garland! She doesn't look a day over 16. This wax sculpture was found at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, where we had our opening party in Los Angeles.
