SYNOPSIS: It’s 1973. President Richard Nixon is furious that Chile is being led by an unapologetic Marxist, Salvador Allende. In fact, Nixon is so furious he gives the CIA the job of removing Allende. Our Man In Santiago, an original play by Mark Wilding, is a dark comedy based on the true story of the CIA’s attempts to overthrow Chile’s democratically elected leader.
