Hamlet in Bed: The Play's the Thing in Which to Catch the Conscience of…the Queen?
Michael Laurence's Hamlet in Bed finds a neurotic actor (Laurence) who was raised as an adopted child and is now living in a troubled relationship. When he comes upon the actress-turned-barfly (Annette O'Toole) that he believes is his real mother, he stages a production of the Bard's masterpiece in an attempt to discover if it's actually her. In this exclusive performance video, Laurence and O'Toole give glimpses into the inner lives of their emotionally damaged characters. Lisa Peterson directs the production at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater.
