Nunn has had one of the most accomplished careers in all of British theatre. He ran the Royal Shakespeare Company from 1968 to 1986, and, a few years ago, took over the top post at the Royal National Theatre. He has directed countless productions of the classics, as well as Les Miserables and many of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals, including Cats and Sunset Boulevard. He won Tony Awards for his direction of Cats, Les Miz and The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.

Nunn recently scored a triumph with his London revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!
