News 59th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards Presented May 21 Tyne Daly, Donna Murphy and the cast of The Norman Conquests will be presenters at the 59th Annual Outer Critics Circle Awards ceremony, which will be held May 21 at Sardi's beginning at 4 PM ET. OCC president Simon Saltzman hosts.

Winners of the awards were announced May 11.

A Special Award will be given to Marjorie Gunner in "recognition of her serving 30 years on the Executive Committee (25 years as President) and her 43 years of reviewing New York theatre." Up until she retired (May 11), Gunner's weekly theatre column was printed in three regional papers. Gunner was also one of the first seven women voted into the Friars Club and a noted BMI lyricist.

The Outer Critics Circle Awards honor the best in Broadway and Off-Broadway theatre.
