PlayBlog A Look at the Costumes of Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark (Video) Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, Broadway's newest musical that officially opened June 14 at the Foxwoods Theatre, has untangled all of its webs and is now running smoothly, following the longest preview period in Broadway history.

Here, new director Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz) takes NBC's Lauren Scala backstage at the Foxwoods Theatre for a look at the costumes that were inspired by the classic Marvel comic books. McKinley describes the elaborate detail on the costumes that transform actors Patrick Page and Collin Baja into the famous villains Green Goblin and Carnage, respectively.

Scala will make her way around the backstage area of the Foxwoods on tonight's (June 17) "In the Wings" special airing on NY Nonstop at 9:30 PM ET.

Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark stars Reeve Carney as Peter Parker, Jennifer Damiano as Mary Jane and T.V. Carpio as Arachne.
