Directed by Marlene Thorn Taber, performances will continue through June 2.

Hayley Hoffmeister portrays Emma Bovary, and Roger Rathburn is Charles Bovary in a cast that also features John Raymond Barker, Alison Novelli, Eyal Sherf, Mia Rose Spackman, Patrick Thomas Spencer, Christopher G. Tefft and Carl G. Zurhorst.

A Musical: Madame Bovary has music and lyrics by Paul Dick. The musical, according to press notes, "brings to life Flaubert's characters as they transition from youthful romanticism to mature reality except for Emma Bovary. This is the story of her passion."

The creative team includes costume designer Roejendra Adams, lighting designer Mitchell Ost, production stage manager Brian R. Sekinger and scenic designer Aaron Sheckler.

Performances are Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 3 PM and May 20 and 27 at 8 PM.

Roy Arias Stage IV is located at 300 West 43rd Street. Tickets are $18 and are available at ovationtix.com,  or by phone (866) 811-4111. Ten dollar student discount tickets are available online and at box office day of the show.
