Lindsay Mendez, one of the so-called "Mennonettes" of Broadway's Everyday Rapture, will slip out of her back-up singer's dress and into new duds — and the solo-singer spotlight — for one night, June 28. Mendez, who also appeared in The Marvelous Wonderettes Off-Broadway and Kathleen Marshall's Grease on Broadway, will perform pop and jazz standards with the Marco Paguia Trio at Joe's Pub at 9:30 PM Monday.

Vocalist Mendez and jazz pianist Paguia will collaborate on interpretations of the singers and songwriters that inspire them most, including Nina Simone, Dinah Washington, Carmen McRae, Lennon/McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Jeff Buckley, Roger Waters, Joni Mitchell, Stevie Wonder, among others.

Paguia is the music director of Everyday Rapture. Pete Donovan is on bass, Dave Ratajczak is on drums.

Admission is $20. To make reservations, go to www.joespub.com or call (212) 539-8777. Everyday Rapture continues performances Tuesday with Sherie Rene Scott, Betsy Wolfe, Eamon Foley and Mendez.
