"The Actors Fund Broadway Series" at Feinstein's at Loews Regency, which benefits the non-profit organization, kicks off April 27 with a concert by recent Tale of Two Cities star James Barbour.

Show time is 8:30 PM. Others scheduled for the series include Andréa Burns (May 4), the cast of [title of show] (Hunter Bell, Jeff Bowen, Susan Blackwell and Heidi Blickenstaff on May 11), Julia Murney (May 18) and Norm Lewis (June 1). The Actors Fund, which was founded in 1882, is a non-profit organization that provides for the social welfare of all entertainment professionals. Some of the many programs The Actors Fund provides include a nursing home and assisted living care facility; senior and disabled programs; mental health services; chemical dependency services; entertainment industry assistance programs; the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative; the AIDS Initiative; and supportive housing on both coasts.

All admission proceeds will go directly to the assistance of professionals in performing arts and entertainment in times of need, crisis or transition.

James Barbour was most recently seen as Sydney Carton in A Tale of Two Cities. His other Broadway credits include Assassins, Urinetown, Jane Eyre, Beauty and the Beast, Carousel and Cyrano—The Musical. He has appeared in such films as "Eight Crazy Nights" and has guest-starred on such television shows as "Sex and the City" and "Ed."
