News Actors' Temple to Host First Monthly Broadway Shabbat for Performing Arts Community The Actors' Temple will offer its first monthly Broadway Shabbat Oct. 11 at 6 PM.

Described as "a special service for the performing arts community" and led by Rabbi Jill Hausma, Broadway Shabbat will include short services prepared for performing artists that conclude in time for them to make their half-hour calls that evening.

Broadway Shabbat is organized by members of the Broadway community and led by Russell Fischer of Jersey Boys. The service will be held the second Friday of each month, pending holiday conflicts.
