A 12-hour festival of music, dance, literature, film and fashion, the event begins at 11 AM and will be held in the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space. Exploring the evolution of Harlem from the Renaissance into its current cultural hub, the day will feature footage of celebrated performers inculuding "Bojangles" Robinson, Duke Ellington and his Orchestra, Bessie Smith and Lena Horne.

Expected to appear and/or perform are Tony Award winner Adriane Lenox, Tony Award winner Chuck Cooper, François Battiste, Brandon J. Dirden, Andre Holland, Peter Francis James, Mikal Lee, Carvens Lissaint, Sonia Manzano, Olga Merediz, Walter Dean Myers, Willie Perdomo, Camille Rankine, Nicole Sealey, and BD Wong.

The day's events are divided into four sections: Next Stop, Harlem; Here in Harlem; Harlem Speaks and Harlem Nights. "Wall to Wall Harlem Resonance" will conclude with an on-stage dance party which the audience is invited to participate.
