Alda was seen on Broadway in Glengarry Glen Ross, Art, QED, The Apple Tree and is best known for his role as Hawkeye Pierce in the television series "M*A*S*H." Dancy has appeared on Broadway in Journey's End.
An airdate for Alda's guest-star appearance has not yet been set. "The Big C," the dark comedy about a mother battling cancer, airs on Showtime on Monday nights.
