Katvan's exhibit, "Broadway Behind the Curtain," offers candid portraits of Broadway luminaries. Images captured in the book of the same title include Cumming, Kevin Kline, Angela Lansbury, Elizabeth Taylor, Jason Robards, Gregory Hines and more.

Randy Gener will moderate the 6 PM discussion, that will cover topics from photography, to theatre, and the work of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Katvan said in a statement, "In 1978, during a visit to my friend Natalie Mosco at the Cort Theatre where she was appearing in The Magic Show, I experienced the contrast between the reality in front of the stage and the reality from backstage. Those first photos opened doors to many other shows. To have been a privileged observer, celebrating and sharing life in the theatre, has been an honor."

The exhibit is co-presented by Gallery 138 and Soho Photo Gallery and will continue through Sept. 29. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 1-6 PM by appointment. The Soho Photo Gallery is located at 15 White St. in New York City.
