PlayBlog Alison Fraser, Mary Testa Guest Star on "Jack in A Box" (Video) Tony Award nominees Alison Fraser (Gypsy, The Secret Garden ) and Mary Testa (Xanadu, On The Town, Guys and Dolls) guest star on the latest webisode of “Jack in A Box,” a web series created by actor/writer Michael Cyril Creighton.

According to the show’s website, “Jack was a mild-mannered young man with a BFA in acting and no life skills. He took a job at a theater box office because it didn't involve heavy lifting, wearing a blazer or using Excel. A few years and thousands of customers later, Jack finds himself less mild-mannered and less young than ever before.”

Jack spends his days smoking cigarettes, eating cupcakes, handling obnoxious customers and trying to avoid hawking tickets to the musical Bros of Desire. In the most recent episode, “The Family,” Jack goes to visit his mother (Testa) and gets a visit with his Aunt Heidi (Fraser) in the bargain. Their awkward and delightful conversation topics include Jack’s weight, his employment situation and, naturally, Lady Gaga.

This is a show for anyone who has ever wondered what to do with a BFA, commuted to midtown from Queens or gone without health insurance. Previous guests stars include Patrick Heusinger (Next Fall), Beth Cole (Jack Goes Boating) and Jackie Hoffman (Xanadu).
