The company features Michael Chernus (Obie Award winner for In the Wake) as Sam, Tracee Chimo (Lortel Award winner for Bad Jews, 2ST Uptown's Bachelorette) as Chloe, Ferrera (Emmy Award winner for "Ugly Betty") as Sally and Austin Lysy (2ST's The Water's Edge) as John.

Returning to New York City for the first time in 23 years, Lips Together, Teeth Apart is directed by Peter DuBois (2ST's Trust, All New People and Becky Shaw).

Opening night is set for Oct. 29.

Here's how it's billed: "It's the 4th of July on Fire Island where a brother and sister and their spouses are spending the quintessential American summer weekend in an unfamiliar setting. As their season in the sun unfolds, the two couples do their best to enjoy themselves despite their prejudices and insecurities. The grill is fired up, the drinks are cold and the pool is open but no one is going in. Terrence McNally's trenchant comedy receives its first New York revival in 23 years under the direction of Peter DuBois."

The production features set design by Alexander Dodge, costumes by Emilio Sosa, lighting design by Justin Townsend and sound design by Fitz Patton. The production stage manager is Lori Ann Zepp.

Subscriptions are available through or by calling the box office at (212) 246-4422. Second Stage is currently celebrating its 35th anniversary season. Second Stage is under the artistic direction of Carole Rothman

All performances are staged at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theatre at 305 West 43rd Street (just west of Eighth Avenue).
