Melissa Errico, who was Tony-nominated for her performance in the 2002 Broadway premiere of the Michel Legrand musical Amour, will celebrate the music of the late French composer this November at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

An Even Grander Affair will chart Errico’s collaboration and friendship with Legrand and share with audiences the breadth of his life and work, which included the scores to such films as Yentl, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Cléo from 5 to 7, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Young Ladies of Rochefort, and more.

Performances will take place November 7–9 at 7 PM. Errico will be joined by accompanist and music director Tedd Firth.

“Working with Michel was one of the highlights of my musical life—it’s as though this year, his spirit is at my shoulder and asking me to sing. I wanted to write about him, and now sing about and through him,” Errico said.

Errico is also curating a Legrand Film Festival for the French Institute Alliance Française, which continues through July 30.
