Sutton Foster, who will play Nurse Fay Apple in the City Center Encores! production of Anyone Can Whistle, will bring her solo concert to several cities around the country.

The national tour of An Evening with Sutton Foster will launch Feb. 4 at The Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis. The concert features musical direction by Michael Rafter. Attendees can expect Broadway tunes as well as selections from Foster's debut CD, "Wish." The tour is produced by Fox Theatricals.

Current tour dates follow; additional venues are expected:

Feb. 6 at the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, OH
Feb. 14 at the Bay Area Cabaret in San Francisco, CA
Feb. 26 at the Naples Philharmonic Center in Naples, FL
March 20 at the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, NC

Foster starred in the title role of Thoroughly Modern Millie and received the Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire awards for that performance. She also received Tony nominations for her performances in Shrek the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women, and her other Broadway credits include roles in Young Frankenstein, Les Misérables, Annie, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Grease!. Foster's regional and tour credits include What the World Needs Now, Dorian, Three Musketeers, South Pacific and The Will Rogers Follies.
