Michael Bush will direct the reading of Michael Aman's play at the Player's Theatre. The cast will feature Nancy Anderson and Jerry Dixon; show time is 7 PM. The Unbleached American, according to press notes, "is a two-character comic drama set in a townhouse in New York City in 1908. Ernest Hogan, an African American comedian/songwriter, hires Sharon Flynn to nurse him back to health. They find a sparring partner in each other which leads to a duel of wits – sometimes comic, sometimes hurtful – as each of them battles with the guilt of their pasts. Through their mutual love of performance and music and eventually each other, Ernest and Sharon begin to learn how to forgive themselves."

The Player's Theatre is located at 115 Macdougal Street. For additional information and to reserve tickets, visit www.theplayerstheatre.com.
