Toronto's own Andrea Martin, fresh from her success at the New York Shakespeare Festival, opens in the Bluma Appel Theatre of the St. Lawrence Centre in her one woman comedy show Nude Nude Totally Nude. When she was asked why she had picked this unusual title for a comedy monologue in which she remains clothed, she replied that she wanted a title that would attract attention!

Martin (the current Bounty paper towel lady) is well known in Toronto from her years at The Second City, and on TV in the "SCTV" series. She also scheduled to appear on Broadway in spring 1997 at the Old Lady in Livent's revival of Candide.

Her show opens July 30, for eight performances, closing Aug. 4. A presentation of Livent, tickets can be obtained from 416 366 7723.
