Martin will play the nightclub June 20-23. According to press notes, "The evening will feature music and anecdotes from her Broadway career (which includes acclaimed performances in productions such as My Favorite Year, Candide, Young Frankenstein and Exit the King) as well as some of her memorable 'SCTV' characters. Sirius XM host Seth Rudetsky co-pilots the show from the piano; Peter Flynn directs."
Additionally, Tony nominee Dee Hoty (Footloose, The Will Rogers Follies) and Julia Murney (Wicked) will join vocalists Lisa Brescia (Mamma Mia!), Annie Golden (Hair, Assassins), Randy Graff (City of Angels, Les Mis), Terri Klausner (Sophisticated Ladies, Evita), Lindsay Mendez (Godspell), Kenita Miller (Xanadu, The Color Purple), Rebecca Naomi-Jones (American Idiot) and Darren Ritchie (Wonderland) June 4 as part of 54 Below's New Mondays series.
As previously reported, the new series for composers celebrates the work of New York's new songwriters for musical theatre. New Mondays also salutes some of Broadway's most legendary talents. There will be an $18 cover and a two-drink minimum.
