PlayBlog Andrea McArdle Goes from Annie to Hannigan (Video) Andrea McArdle sat down with "Today Show" co-host Al Roker July 26 to discuss her journey from originating the title role in Annie to playing evil orphanage mistress Miss Hannigan in the current North Carolina Theatre revival of the classic musical.

McArdle can also be seen kicking up her heels to “Easy Street” in production footage, and even reprising her signature number, “Tomorrow,” with current Annie English Bernhardt and the show’s cast at the curtain call.

McArdle earned a Tony nomination for playing Annie and is the youngest performer to hold that distinction. Her other Broadway credits include Les Miserables, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast and State Fair.

Annie's run continues at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts through Aug. 1.
