News Andrew Jackson's Benjamin Walker to Host Election Eve Comedy Event Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson star Benjamin Walker will host "Find the Funny," a free election night-themed evening of comedy and variety, Nov. 2 at the Tank.

Walker, a Juilliard-trained actor with a knack for stand-up comedy, created and hosts the "Find the Funny" variety series that showcases the work of comics and performers from clubs and colleges. The series was previously presented at Jimmy’s No. 43 in the East Village.

The 9:30 PM election eve "Find the Funny" event marks the relaunch of the series that will be presented the first Tuesday of each month. Justin Levine and the Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson band will perform alongside Summer & Eve, Little Francis Puddle, Josh Fadem, Helen Hong, Hannibal Buress and Sean Patton. The Tank is located at 354 West 45th Street in Manhattan.

Producers of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson have also launched a "Voting Just Got All Sexypants!" Facebook contest, in which fans can upload a picture of themselves to win a pair of tickets to the rock musical. In addition, $50 tickets are now available for all performances through Nov. 24 by using the BBJVOTE code at the box office and online.

The 90-minute musical, equal parts sketch comedy, underground rock concert and a revisionist history lesson, has book and direction by Alex Timbers of Les Freres Corbusier and music and lyrics by The Civilians' Michael Friedman. Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson opened Oct. 13 at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Walker, who originated the role of "Old Hickory" at the Center Theatre Group and subsequently Off-Broadway at the Public, repeats his work for the Broadway run as the skinny-jean-clad President. The cast also features Maria Elena Ramirez as Rachel, Jeff Hiller as John Adams, Lucas Near-Verbrugghe as Van Buren, Ben Steinfeld as Monroe, Greg Hildreth as Red Eagle, Darren Goldstein as Calhoun, Bryce Pinkham as Clay, Kate Cullen Roberts as Elizabeth, Kristine Nielson as the Storyteller, Cameron Ocasio as Lyncoya, Nadia Quinn, Emily Young as the Female Soloist and James Barry as the Male Soloist.

Producers are offering a daily $20 ticket lottery for 20 seats within the first two rows at the Jacobs Theatre. Entries will be accepted 30 minutes prior to each performance.

Tickets range $51.50-$131.50. The performance schedule is as follows: Monday-Thursday at 7 PM; Fridays at 8 PM; Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM; and Sundays at 2 PM and 7 PM.
