News Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Lindsay Mendez, Kenita Miller, Margo Seibert, Jim Stanek Will Star in Sondheim's Saturday Night at the York Casting has been announced for The York Theatre Company's upcoming production of Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night — the 100th production in the company's acclaimed Musicals in Mufti Series — which will be presented Nov. 8-16.

Saturday Night, with a book by Julius J. Epstein and music and lyrics by Sondheim, is based on the play Front Porch in Flatbush by Julius J. Epstein and Philip G. Epstein.

Directed by Stafford Arima, with music supervision by Paul Gemignani, the 15-member cast will feature Matthew Bauman, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Ben Fankhauser, Jeremy Greenbaum, Olli Haaskivi, Michael Thomas Holmes, Greg Kamp, Jared Loftin, Lindsay Mendez, Kenita Miller, Lance Roberts, Matthew Scott, Margo Seibert, Jim Stanek and Dana Steingold.

"Gene isn't satisfied with life in Brooklyn - no, he's meant for bigger things," according to press notes. "After crashing a party and meeting a fabulous southern dame (also a crasher) he comes up with a scheme to get rich quick on the market, and this plan can't fail...can it?"

The creative team also includes Brian Nason (lighting) and Geoff Josselson (casting director).

The Fall 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series will conclude with My Favorite Year, which has a book by Joseph Dougherty, lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty, Dec. 5-7.
