Larsen succeeds Julia Murney, who departed the production to star in the forthcoming Off-Broadway play Falling.
With direction by Maltby, associate direction and choreography by Kurt Stamm and music direction by Andrew Gerle, the cast also features Jacquelyn Piro Donovan, George Dvorsky and Sal Viviano.
The production, which is now in performance through Sept. 30 at The York Theatre at Saint Peter's, is described as "an intimate musical about love, friendship, security, happiness — and holding onto those essentials in a world that pulls us in a hundred directions at once."
The creative team includes James Morgan (sets), Nicole Wee (costumes) and Kirk Bookman (lights). The production stage manager is Bernita Robinson.
Tickets are priced at $67.50 and are available online at yorktheatre.org, by calling (212) 935-5820, or in person at the box office at the York Theatre at Saint Peter’s (Citicorp Building, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).
