"A man whose greatest gift in life is also his biggest demon. The dogged pursuit of his dream will ultimately lead him to salvation, or it will kill him," press notes state. "With an insatiable, intemperate, unquenchable passion for music and stardom that reaches the heights of the stratosphere, William stands to lose his family, home, friends and sanity in order to pursue his career of Soul Super Stardom in Barnwell, South Carolina in the 1960’s. His family emphatically denies he even has talent, yet his fans have bolstered his dream that he will change music history as we know it. Does William give up his dreams and infatuation to endure a vapid life of complacency in order to appease his family, pay his bills, and please his girlfriend, or does he embark on a musical journey that will destroy the relationships of the only people he knows and loves but lead him to musical salvation."
