Directed by Tom Attenborough, the production will also feature Andrew Nolan and John Rogan. Tim Johanson Productions and Ollie Jordan present a Rhapsody for Words production.

In the play, a young boy leaves home for the first time, a middle-aged man begins a job, and an old man receives a mysterious package. Each has a story to tell, each has something to reveal. As each man confronts the significance of these events, they are forced to take stock of themselves, their feelings and the decisions they have made.

McPherson's other plays include The Veil (recently at the National), Dublin Carol (currently being revived at Trafalgar Studios 2 as part of the Donmar Trafalgar season, through Dec. 31), The Weir, Shining City and The Seafarer, the latter three of which all were subsequently seen on Broadway.

O'Hanlon has previously appeared onstage in God of Carnage at Dublin's Gate Theatre and See You Next Tuesday (at Dublin's Gate, then the West End's Albery Theatre). His debut novel, "The Talk of the Town," remained in the Best Seller charts for more than six months.

Nolan was last seen on stage in Butley at the Duchess Theatre. Other credits include Attenborough's production of The Shape of Things at the Gallery Soho. Rogan has previously appeared at Southwark Playhouse in On Borrowed Time. His extensive stage credits include regular appearances at Soho Theatre, the Almeida, the National and Royal Court, including runs of Jumpers (at the National, then subsequently in the West End and on Broadway).
