News Audra McDonald to Appear at London's Leicester Square Theatre Jan. 17 Audra McDonald, who previously played an intimate concert run as part of the Divas at the Donmar season in London in 1999, is to return to the U.K for her first solo concert since then. She will appear at Leicester Square Theatre Jan. 17.

  McDonald has also appeared as a guest soloist in London for the BBC Proms, in a concert performance of Wonderful Town in 1999 and in the Last Night of the Proms in 2002.

  According to press materials, she will perform a wide range of songs both familiar and lesser known, from a repertoire that includes Rodgers & Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Stephen Sondheim and Kate Miller-Heidke.
