News Award-Winning Signature Theatre Production to Play Kennedy Center, Aug. 27-Sept. 14 Nijinsky will dance again.

The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts will offer a limited engagement of the Signature Theatre's acclaimed production of Nijinsky's Last Dance. The award-winning play by Norman Allen will be presented at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater, Aug. 27-Sept 14. The Kennedy Center run will reunite the star and director of the Signature production, Jeremy Davidson and Joe Calarco, respectively. Nijinsky's Last Dance concerns the life of the late, legendary dancer as he enters an asylum. Nijinsky struggles with the memories of his life, including his relationships with lover Sergei Diaghilev, prima ballerina Tamara Karsavina, wife Romola Pulsky and artistic champion Auguste Rodin. The Signature production earned four Helen Hayes Awards, including Outstanding Play.

During its Kennedy Center engagement, Nijinsky's Last Dance will play Tuesday-Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM with Saturday matinees at 2 PM.
