As previously reported Streisand will open Brooklyn's Barclays Center this October with a new concert, titled Back to Brooklyn. Streisand will make her first public performance in her hometown of Brooklyn Oct. 11 and 13 at the Barclays Center. Both shows are sold-out.
Streisand will also play Las Vegas, NV (Nov. 2 at the MGM Grand); San Jose, CA (Nov. 5 at the HP Pavilion); and Los Angeles, CA (Nov. 9 at the Hollywood Bowl).
Tickets for the newly announced performances will go on sale Sept. 21 in Las Vegas and Sept. 24th in both San Jose and Los Angeles.
Previously announced tour stops include Philadelphia, PA (Oct. 8 at the Wells Fargo Center); Montreal, QC (Oct. 17 at the Bell Centre); Ottawa, ON (Oct. 20 at the Scotiabank Plaza); Toronto, ON (Oct. 23 at the Air Canada Center) and Chicago, IL (Oct. 26 at the United Center).
Streisand is an artist in multiple disciplines. She is an award-winning actress, recording artist, concert performer, film director, producer, screenwriter, songwriter, philanthropist, designer, photographer, author and activist. Streisand is the only artist ever to receive an Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Directors Guild of America, Golden Globe, National Medal of Arts and Peabody Awards as well as France's Legion d'Honneur and the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award. She is the recipient of two Oscars, five Emmys, 10 Grammys, a Tony and 12 Golden Globes including the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She is also the first female film director to receive the Kennedy Center Honors. The three films she directed received 14 Oscar nominations.
