Directed by Joe DeMita, the rock musical about kids coming of age in a Catholic boarding school will play the Massachusetts venue through Aug. 2. Jason Whiting is musical director.
The cast of local actors will feature Samuel Moscoso as Jason, Trevor Croft as Peter, Ashley Yarnell as Ivy, KeriAnn Maguire as Nadia, Andrew Mackin as Matt, Anne Ohlmsted as Diane Lee, Kacee Staiti as Rory, Kira Cowen as Tanya, AnneMarie Alvarez as Kyra, Joe Mullin as Alan, Justin McCoubry as Zach, Chris Murray as Lucas, Ursina Amsler as Claire, Lara Simpson as Sister Chantelle and Brian Dunham as the Priest. The student ensemble includes Samantha Lebicz and Brendan Colcord.
The musical bare has a book by Jon Hartmere and Damon Intrabartolo, with music by Intrabartolo and lyrics by Hartmere.
The creative team also includes technical director Christopher Matthue Smith, set designer Chris Kingston, costume designer Lindsay Hurley and make-up designer Kaitlyn MacPherson. Tina Cersosimo is the production stage manager.
The Jon Hartmere and Damon Intrabartolo musical had a West Coast run and then a 2004 Off-Broadway production that was poised to be expanded for a larger life in Manhattan, but producers' plans did not pan out.
