Tony-nominated actors Alan Bates, Frank Langella and Shuler Hensley are the guests for the May 24 broadcast of "Theatre Talk," the acclaimed PBS talk show that features interviews with top theatre celebrities and critics. All nominated for Tony Awards for their performances this season, the three actors also received Drama Desk Awards on Sunday, May 19. Veteran actors Alan Bates and Frank Langella currently co-star in the acclaimed production of Fortune's Fool, the new adaptation of Turgenev's comedy, which is playing the Music Box Theatre. Shuler Hensley is repeating his Olivier Award-winning role as Jud Fry in the revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! at the Gershwin Theatre.
Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen. The program also runs Sunday afternoons at 4 PM on WGBH in Boston. Next week's episode will focus on the Tony Awards.
