Classic Arts News BBC Radio 3 Presents Every Beethoven Work in 100-Hour Marathon The U.K.'s BBC Radio 3 is presenting a marathon of Beethoven works airing through June 10.
The Beethoven Experience, which started on June 5, presents every work written by the composer. A complete schedule of the programming—along with biographical information, program notes, trivia, and more—is available at www. bbc.co.uk/radio3/Beethoven.

The broadcasts include commentary from pianist Alfred Brendel, conductor Roger Norrington, and Peter Cropper, leader of the Lindsay Quartet.

John Suchet, author of a three-volume biography of Beethoven, will read excerpts from his work.

All nine of Beethoven's symphonies, performed by the BBC Philharmonic and conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, will be made available for download on the web site over the course of the week.
