Richard Kalinoski will be present at the Madison Repertory Theatre of Madison, WI when his award-winning drama, Beast on the Moon. Opens Sept.12 running through September 28.

Beast on the Moon, recipient of the 1996 Osborn Award for Best New Play, is the story of Seta and Aram, a married couple learning love and forgiveness as they struggle to heal the emotional trauma they suffered in the Armenian holocaust of 1915.

D. Scott Glasser (Artistic Director, MRT) will direct a Danny Jacobs as Aram and Darla Max as Seta, both making their Madison Rep debut. The production is supported behind the scenes by Michael Croswell (sound design), Frank Schneeberger (set design), Mary Waldhart (costume design), and John Frautschy (lighting design).

Beast on the Moon will run from September 12 through 28 in the Isthmus Playhouse of the Madison Civic Center. Kalinoski will join in a free public discussion of the play after the September 14 matinee. There will also be a reading of his new play, Mother College on September 15 at 7:30 pm.
