News   Beth Leavel and Burke Moses Set for That's Andy Reading
Tony Award-winning Drowsy Chaperone star Beth Leavel and The Fantasticks' Burke Moses will take part in a by-invitation-only reading of the new musical That's Andy.

Leavel and Moses will join Joan Barber, Terri Furr and Mary Poppins' Henry Hodges for the March 26 reading at Ripley Grier Studios. Hodges stars in the title role of the musical, which concerns "a young boy whose dream in life is to play the title role in Annie."

Conceived by Robert Jay Cronin, That's Andy features music by Kevin Carter and book and lyrics by Crystal Skillman. The reading is being produced by Joe McGinnis and Bart Kahn; the producers hope the musical will arrive on Broadway by Christmas.

Beth Leavel received Tony and Drama Desk awards for her performance in the title role of The Drowsy Chaperone. Her other Broadway credits include 42nd Street, Crazy for You, Show Boat and The Civil War.

Burke Moses, who is currently playing El Gallo in the Off-Broadway revival of The Fantasticks, won a Theatre World Award and a Drama Desk nomination for creating the role of Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. His other Broadway credits include Guys and Dolls, The Frogs and Kiss Me, Kate.

Ripley-Grier Studios are located in Manhattan at 520 Eighth Avenue, between 36th and 37th Streets.
