Written and directed by Bruce Kimmel, each episode features songs by Kimmel and an entirely new cast, save for one recurring character, the director of the group. Each episode will also include one to three musical numbers; new episodes will air every two weeks. The first season will feature performances by Matthew Ashford ("Days Of Our Lives"), Jason Graae (Forever Plaid, The Grand Tour, Falsettos), Gregory Harrison (Steel Pier, Follies, Chicago), Melody Hollis (White Christmas on Broadway), Nikka Graff Lanzarone (Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown, Chicago) Beth Leavel (Tony winner for The Drowsy Chaperone; Baby, It’s You), Barry Pearl (Baby, It’s You) and Sandy Rosenberg (Mamma Mia!).
The "Outside The Box" theme was written by Grant Geissman. "Outside The Box" is shot on location in New York and Los Angeles.
