PlayBlog Bette Midler Talks Priscilla Queen of the Desert in Musical's New Commercial (Video) Priscilla Queen of the Desert, currently playing at the Palace Theatre, recently released a new commercial featuring clips of the production that officially opened on Broadway March 20.

Produced by Tony Award-winning diva Bette Midler, Priscilla Queen of the Desert is the flashy new musical that features dance-floor favorites including "I Say A Little Prayer," "Material Girl," "I Will Survive" and "It's Raining Men," among others. Here, Midler, who received a Special Tony Award in 1974 for "adding luster to the Broadway season," talks about the new musical and offers a look at the action inside Broadway's Palace Theatre.

Priscilla stars 2011 Tony Award nominee Tony Sheldon (Bernadette), Will Swenson (Tick/Mitzi) and Nick Adams (Adam/Felicia) as "the trio of friends on a heart-warming, uplifting adventure. [They] hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed."
