News Billy Elliot Composer Elton John to Conclude Las Vegas Engagement in April Award-winning entertainer and Broadway songwriter Elton John will conclude his Las Vegas run in The Red Piano April 22 at Caesar's Palace.

The splashy multimedia production, co-created by John and acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle, began performances as a limited engagement at Caesar's Colosseum in February 2004. The Associated Press reports that Red Piano will conclude its run after 241 performances.

The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace also boasts a rotating line-up of stars that includes Bette Midler and Cher.

John is a five-time Grammy Award winner and Academy Award winner for "The Lion King." He has written the scores to the Broadway musicals Billy Elliot, The Lion King, Aida (Tony Award) and Lestat.
