News Brian Stokes Mitchell to Sing Aboard Broadway on the High Seas 8 After White Rabbit Red Rabbit, the Tony winner joins the star-studded lineup of Playbill’s February cruise to the Caribbean.

Broadway on the High Seas 8 welcomes two-time Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell to its roster of acclaimed performers. The eighth cruise in Playbill’s series of exotic and unparalleled trips, this adventure is shaping up to be the experience of a lifetime.

In February 2017, travelers board the newly renovated luxury liner Silverseas’ Silver Wind for a Caribbean adventure, including stops in St. Maarten, St. Kitts, St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, and more.

Mitchell, who was most recently seen on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical Shuffle Along, or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed, brings his booming baritone to our lineup of solo shows.

Once named “the last leading man” by The New York Times, audiences know Mitchell from Broadway’s Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, his iconic Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha, the title role in King Hedley II, his Tony-winning turn in Kiss Me, Kate, his defining portrayal of Coalhouse Walker Jr. in Ragtime, his performance opposite Chita Rivera in Kiss of the Spider Woman, taking over for Gregory Hines in Jelly’s Last Jam, as well as roles in Ok, Kay!, Mail, and Oliver!
