Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell, last on Broadway in Shuffle Along…, has been cast in the drama pilot Perfect Citizen, according to Deadline. He joins his former Shuffle Along co-star Adrienne Warren in the CBS project.
The pilot stars Noah Wyle as Deck, a lawyer who begins a new career at a Boston law firm following his work for the NSA that led to his involvement in an international scandal. Mitchell, who won his Tony for his performance in Kiss Me, Kate, has been cast in the role of Paul, a power broker who has been a best friend to Deck since they were in law school.

Warren, who was also seen on Broadway in Bring It On The Musical, will portray Ingrid, Deck's loyal deputy at the NSA.
Directed by Paris Barclay from a script by executive producer Craig Turk, the cast also includes Shanley Caswell and Stephanie Szostak.
